About the author

Systems engineer by trade, Northern Norwegian by origin. Thirty years of Linux, datacenters, and search engines — alltheweb.com, Yahoo, FAST, Microsoft, Q-Free — now also writing books: two published novels, a field guide to surviving modern infrastructure, and a Norwegian one about growing up untangling fishing lines in an egnarbua in Lyngen.

Also writes about LLMs, guitar tabs, and whatever else needed building this month on the tech blog. Code lives at github.com/aweussom.
